أُسِّسَت الشركة الدولية لإدارة الخدمات الطبية (إيمبا) في العام 2006، وتعتبر إيمبا اليوم من الشركات الرائدة في إدارة التأمين الصحي بما فيها إدارة الملف الطبي والمطالبات والنفقات الطبية. فهي إضافة لإدارتهــا لأكثر مــن 200,000 مضمــون عبــر شبكة طــبــيـــة منتشــرة، متنــوعـــة، وكــفــوءة.
قامت باطلاق البوابة الالكترونية للتــأمين الصحي لإدارة خدمـــة الموافـقــات لأكــثــر مـن 700,000مضمـــون تحـــت مظلـــة المؤســســة العامة السورية والتي كانت نقطة البداية لنظام المطالبات الالكتروني.
2014, IMPA lunched the digital health process (e-claims) and it was the first time in the region which is prelude to upgrading health insurance to a new stage after the long suffering of most health insurance parties In 2023, the Insurance Supervisory Authority obliged insurance companies and TPAs to adopt the electronic claims system. This confirms the validity of what Impa did in terms of launching the electronic claims system more than ten years ago
نجحت إيمبا عبر نظام المطالبات الالكتروني في تحقيق العديد من المزايات لجميع الأطراف بداية من تخفيف العبء عن مزودي الخدمة وتحسين مستوى الخدمة المقدمة وتسهيل الموافقات الطبية وجعلها أكثر دقة، بالاضافة إلى توحيد الأسعار والإجراءات بين جميع مقدمي الخدمة إلى توحيد اللغة والمصطلحات الطبية بالاعتماد على الترميزات العالمية، كما طورت عمليات إنشاء الملف الطبي لحامل بطاقة التأمين الصحي الأمر الذي ساعد في توفر الوقت والجهد والمال
